Items are carefully packaged before they are shipped.  Your jewelry will be protected by tissue paper and bubble wrap before being placed in a bubble wrapped mailing envelope.

If you treat your piece with care, it will last a long time.  Lucite does scratch so be careful to not crush or drop your jewelry and keep away from other hard objects.  The jewelry can get smudges and fingerprints.  Wipe with a clean cloth and water.
